Biography
James has 20+ years of lean manufacturing experience serving in engineering, operations, sales and management capacities. He has led many technically challenging product-oriented projects from building beryllium neutron reflectors for super colliders, forming parts for jet engines and producing assemblies for food and pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment. Success with product and business development required him to expand his abilities to include managing production improvement-oriented projects either replacing, automating, rehabbing and or building new production facilities.
His passion for performing strategically balanced business development and six sigma continuous improvement work led him to develop robust strategic and tactical processes for developing products, services, people and the systems to support fulfillment accordingly as order volumes increase while still meeting quality, delivery and cost requirements. His expertise is incorporated into LightStance business products.
In addition to his strong technical & operations expertise, Jim teaches and develops people’s soft skills as a certified Dale Carnegie instructor going on 10 years now. His aim is to help companies and individuals to be as successful as they possibly can by helping them leverage 100% of their potential. That aim fuels Jim’s passion for developing LightStance product and supporting LightStance clients and facilitators.
